Laura Anglès- In a moment which Brasil it’s becoming one of the digital worldwide centre, with more than 100 million surfers and more than 50 million of smartphones, give birth the Brazilian edition of the Huffington Post, an online news aggregator and blog.
The Brasil Post binds at the nine editions that the diary has settled down since its foundation of the American version in 2005. “In a country so wild and different as Brasil, the Brasil Post host all the voices –politics, business leaders but also academics, students, activists and artists- and it’s going to be a platform in which all the Brazilians could share their concerns- says Arianna Huffington, the diary founder.
The Spanish version was born in 2012 from Prisa, which participates in it with the 50%. This time, the chronicle copied again its strategy of ally with the local media, and has agreed with Grupo Abril, one of the business media more influent from Brasil. For the moment, Arianna Huffington is planning to add South Korea to her large collection of countries.
