Georgina Boixereu.- Twitter’s team plans on launching a new design where photographs are the main element. In a clear approach to Google+ and Facebook’s interface, the social network opted for the image, extending the cover photo and elongating the profile one, which will be situated on the left side of the screen instead of the centre, as it has been up to now.
On the other hand, the characteristic timeline will be affected. Tweets will no longer be situated vertically one above the other, but they will organize in a mosaic form. Moreover, to the actual tabs “tweets”, “followers” and “following”, two more will be added: photographs and videos.
This redesign has come to light thanks to Mashable‘s editor, Matt Petronzio, who filtered an image of Twitter’s future aspect. The remodel, but, is still not completed, and we’ll have to wait to see this changes on our network’s accounts.
