Jara Bravo.- Last study of Navegantes en la Red, an association for the investigation of Communication Means (AIMC), points out that, although television and newspaper websites are the most used sources by web surfers, they also use significantly other means such as “radio, printed newspapers, digital native media, specialized websites or portals”.
The study, realized through a poll, has demonstrated that 66.4% of the people who answered online have Internet as their primary source of information. A 29.1%, in stead, affirms that it is an important source, but secondary.
It has also been observed through which devices the answerers access information. Computers were on top with a 84.7%, followed by smartphones (44.5%) and tablets (30.6%). It is important to highlight, though, that access through smartphones has increased considerably this last year.
